P T Barnum said it best … “There’s a sucker born every minute.” These boys burned thru a billion bucks, nearly failed and now someone else who needs their head examined is stepping in … wonderful :frowning:

… and the insanity continues…

Well, maybe after Lilium gets that quiet aircraft built, the NPS will allow overflights again? and the insanity…

How’d you like to do the prop / engine overhaul on that sucker. I’ll bet it takes an entire year.

No overhauls. You probably just keep a couple of drop in spares in the baggage area.

Buying a startup out of bankruptcy is either very smart or incredibly dumb. But at least the new investors can’t say that they were not adequately warned.

Some people never learn!

The new investors have been given every opportunity. Must be a bigger plan somewhere.

“Lilium Secures Lifeline With New Investors”
“Lilium announced a deal with new investors”
“found a buyer”
" very pleased to announce the signing of an investment agreement"
“Deal closing at the beginning of January”
“certain conditions must be met before the contract is finalized”

Sounds good, it’ll probably come true, especially if you ignore the last quote.
