I’m a ForeFlight fan, but the “we did it first” vibe of this article is a little suspect. My UPSAT MX20 (circa 2000) did this in my panel: superimposed approach plates right on top of the map and plotted radar and other stuff on top).
It was cool. Although getting a Windows NT Blue Screen of Death occasionally was unsettling.
