Earlier this week, The U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) issued a dark warning to airmen and former service members. The office cautioned against “foreign intelligence entities” using a phony recruitment scheme to trick unsuspecting veterans and current service members. Special Agent Lee Russ executive director of AFOSI Office of Special Projects, said, “These aren’t just job offers, they’re intelligence operations in disguise. Our adversaries are targeting the very people who’ve kept this nation secure.”
Nah, can this really be true? I thought that we lived in a world free from intelligence gathering and subterfuge. Increase the tariffs I say until this stuff pays it’s fair share and we can all bask in the sun of a fading western civilization. I’d like a reprieve in the tariffs if there’s a claim form to complete. Hypocrisy only applies to hippocrites and we’re all outside that domain thank goodness. Happy days ahead.
Huh? You’ve been here all along? Why wasn’t I informed? No matter, I’ll send over a box of Burnett’s vodka straightaway. My SecDef says it smells just like nail polish - your lady friends will love it!
This has ben common practice against Defense Engineers and Scientists for decades. We are trained to look for this type pf activity. We also sign specific legal document that warn of the dangers of espeonage and the life time commitment to protect the nations intellectual property. SOME people cross the line and there are many well documented cases of thier harsh punishments. (a few specific individuals got off by move t the nations they betrayed the us for But this cases were caught up in some high level international diplomacy. SO this is nothing new. and if the AF is going public with this it ,means maybe they need to review their internal requirements for protection of the nations IP (BTW the pilot training was paid by the US taxpayer it is US taxpayer IP NOT the pilots!. ) strengthen it if needed and do what the US does to those who develop IP for the US defense (and other organizations ) and scare the crap out of them.
