All I see in the photo is excessive flat plate area, no rudder for single engine ops and too much surface interference drag. . . plus crashworthiness. Reminds of the Alice. . . clickbait for people with too much money to invest and too little knowledge of aerodynamics.
I used to fly hang gliders. Holding your head up can get old at 1g. At 9gs… not happening. So this guy’s head is actually anchored to the wing?
Also, the human torso doesn’t breathe well with arms extended overhead like that. Hang gliders have the upper arms going down, not forward.
And crashworthiness… in a hang glider the game plan is to get upright and pile in feet first, letting the structure absorb as much as possible before the chest and then head get involved. Crashing while prone is… not good. And hang gliders usually crash at about 20 kt, not whatever this would be doing.
But, the Superman position is cool!
