Tecnam Addresses Creature Comfort With 'Gran Lusso' Edition P2010 - AVweb

Italian airframer Tecnam reported today (July 19) that it plans to display the newly announced “Gran Lusso” (“Great Luxury”) version of its P2010 at next week’s EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In addition to its 170-HP turbocharged Continental CD-170 jet-fuel-burning piston engine, single-lever power control, Garmin G1000 NXi avionics and standard-equipment flight management system (FMS), the four-seat aircraft now incorporates “improved cabin ergonomics for an unprecedented ultimate luxury flying experience,” according to Tecnam.

Oh, does it have only one pilot seat thus roomy width?

Pfft.

Cost? Or does it matter these days?

I’m sure they added a hundred extra pounds to the maximum gross weigh to accommodate all that fancy interior stuff. No? Oh well, you didn’t want to bring the kids along anyway.

They would only ruin the leather!

Actually, I have to say that I like what I saw from the little peek they gave us in the photo. Two bucket seats, center console, single lever throttle control, burns jet fuel, nice Garmin…and I agree with Dale…How much $$$?
