I’d put some people on an isolated island and only feed them water until they figure out something they have not dealt with before.
Well, that might work as well as the tribe in Alaska that tried an old tactic - put some lazy or misbehaving young people on an island where they had to forage for themselves for a few weeks. But friends and relatives were sneaking food to them. :-o)
