NetJets Petitions FAA For Longer Crew Duty Periods

The petition would allow extended crew duty hours for Global 7500 operations.

Well, shouldn’t crew sleep facilities be a factor?

Wide body airliners have ample space above ceilings.

(Some airlines are carrying an extra crew member as insurance against one pilot getting sick or hurt on layover - I recall BA doing that LHR<>SEA which is around 9 hours duration plus prep and debrief time.)

Wow! And silly me thought 14 hour duty days were enough. Is one more hour really gonna make a difference Most crew members don’t get quality rest airborne, they may sleep but are they really rested? May Netjets could stick a broom up the pilots ass and they can sweep the cabin while they’re at it.
