When you have your pockets stuffed full of tech donor cash, it’s easy to issue an edict. Even more so when you’re completely ignorant of what is required and the real status of the technology- not the hyped “just around the corner” picture.
Yes certification is a hard, costly process. It has been written in blood by lessons learned, not lessons ignored until now. Forget the safety advances of the past 100 years. This a return to certification circa 1926.
