Hop-A-Jet is calling on the FAA to expand proposed CF34 engine inspection requirements and close what it describes as gaps in corrosion detection and reporting.
Any US operator can exceed any FAA mandate, even a AD, as long as they meet all AD requirements. And proprietary inspections? In my experience an operator can do their own inspections or hire someone qualified. Makes me wonder about this operator’s experience.
