Best Of The Web: RC Flying As A Pathway To Aviation I really appreciate that you added this information to your website, but no matter how well it was presented, all of the RC aeromodelling community members I sent it to showed no interest in what I’m trying to do to help them. What I’m asking from you is to contact anyone in aviation to help me attract anyone in full-scale aviation willing to work with me on helping bring in newcomers, mainly young people, to become interested in aviation, starting with RC aeromodelling. At minimum, they could contact the Academy of Model Aeronautics and let AMA HQ know that they are interested in my efforts. And ask AMA HQ why the powers that be refuse to help me help them. I read that there is a shortage of airline and military pilots.
