GA Sales Solid Through Three Quarters

GA aircraft sales remain strong across the board with both numbers and billings showing strong growth in the first nine months of 2024. According to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association's third quarter report aircraft sales were up 6.3 percent while the billing totals jumped a whopping 20.5 percent. "The health of our industry remains stable, which allows our companies to invest in technology and innovation that drives improved safety and sustainability for all civil aviation sectors," said GAMA President Pete Bunce.

Why no link? This is such an easy, publicly available document to link to. I don’t understand the reluctance of news agencies to link to other documents–is there something I’m missing?

Weird that GAMA lumps piston AND electric into the same category? That doesn’t make any sense. How would they then track growth over time and differentiate between piston and electric.

I’d estimate that the number of electric planes was insignificant.
