Please, please, just help me filter out the two main classes of nuisance NOTAMs:

  • UAS-specific NOTAMs. I don’t care that I can’t operate a UAS above the World Cup. Truly I don’t. I also don’t care about UAS activity at or below 400’ AGL unless it’s right at the airport.
  • Unlighted obstacles far away from the airport. Your tower at 100’AGL and 10 miles from the airport is definitely not a hazard to my flight, because if I’m at 100’ AGL 10 miles from the airport, I have much bigger problems.
