Oh, for crying out loud … it shouldn’t be asking for much to have FAA shuttle busses scheduled up and down MacArthur and Meridian. 
I know it has been a long time but the FAA did have buses that ran for housing to the academy. 1979-1981.
Don’t remember the buses in 1979. My 2 trips down there, we always managed some kind of carpool. Never had an issue, just kicked in for gas.
