Holy Micro! LLC has received FAA NORSEE Production Approval for its Absolute AoA Heated Probe System (Part Number: AOA-HP-01).
The approval authorizes production of the heated probe configuration for the Absolute AoA system under 14 CFR 21.8(d) in accordance with FAA Policy PS-AIR-21.8-1602. The system is approved as a Supplementary Angle of Attack and Stall Warning System.
The heated probe has been added as an option to the Absolute AoA system for operators who require probe heating. The approval covers production of the equipment, while installation must be completed in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and approved installation data.
It’s always encouraging to see additional NORSEE-approved equipment becoming available, giving aircraft owners more choices for adding supplementary safety-enhancing equipment to their aircraft.
