FAA Administrator - Bryan Bedford

The recent media event that Senator Cruz announced proposed legislation mandating both ADS-B In & Out for ALL aircraft was an opportunity to recognize the families and friends impacted by the mid-air between PSA 5342 and PAT-25. Yes, it was a somewhat solemn occasion where recognition for their losses was appropriate. However, the only person in attendance not dressed in subdued attire was Bryan Bedford. Bedford chose what was similar to a beach colored suit. He stood out from the attendees and smacked of someone clueless. But then it follows a pattern of going his own way and not that of conventional wisdom.

Contrary to what Bedford promised Senator Cruz, when asked at the nomination hearing if he will remain the full 5 year term, BB will be out the door when it suits him and likely well before his term expires.
