WomenVenture programming is scheduled for July 22 during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
The lead speaker has never designed or built an airplane, has she? She loves to talk about “barriers” to women in aviation - what barriers? Do some quick research and you will find a few ladies who have designed and manufactured aircraft - well over a century ago! Especially in America there are no barriers to anyone to pursue a chosen career. There will always be challenges, however. What some women mostly want are sympathy and special treatment and free stuff. Airplanes have no idea which of the two sexes design, build and fly them.
