They Should have to do everything the same as those they “SUPPOSEDLY” represent!
Especially if they are withholding pay, they should not get any .
One of the fundamentals of the concept of rule of law is that laws apply equally to everyone. Congress (and State legislators) should never carve out exceptions to themselves for any rule that applies to the general public! One would think that the alleged watchdog NGOs would alert the public to every time Congress attempts an exemption for themselves. I may not agree with everything Sen. Cornyn does, but I support this 100%.
