Arcline Investment Management agreed to acquire the Alabama-based piston engine manufacturer from subsidiaries of China’s AVIC in a $535 million deal.
Now that the Chinese have obtained all the intellectual property, they need to copy this technology. A private equity firm has moved in to take over. This story doesn’t end well.!!
What “Technology” ? There is nothing under patent here.
By the method the Chinese Used, they legally acquired the company, and that means that they would have legally acquired Any and ALL IP that came with it. They have now also legally sold the company. You imply that what they did was untowardly, when if fact it was all above line. Furthermore they provided investment funds for the US Factory that prior owner did not, it is quite possible that Continental Is better off now than they were before the Chinese Ownership.
