National fuel prices continued climbing in October, with 100LL and Jet A reaching new six-month highs.
This article carefully avoids stating the cause of this astronomical price increase…perhaps to avoid offending the legions of MAGA 1%er twin and bizjet owners in its audience who would instantly rise to defend delusional Trump and lying Hegseth. For months, Trump has tried manipulating the market to slow the rise and Hegseth has blatantly lied about it to support him. Unfortunately the prices didn’t respond to Truth Social posts. Hegseth claimed that the average price of gas in California was $8.00/gallon right before the Iran war started in February. AAA data shows California’s average was actually $4.64/gallon. Both had been warned by America’s best military and intelligence experts that attacking Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz and that was unnecessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. As usual, they fired anyone who disagreed with their plans.
