AOPA is proposing changes to its bylaws that would alter trustee elections, term limits and member voting.
Sorry-- these aren’t “major” changes. They are window dressing. The board still must approve any nominee. if the board gets to choose who runs then it gets to choose who serves, and this accomplishes nothing. I’d love to see AOPA fix its corporate governance issues so it can fix its organization but this falls far short.
