Decent folks wanting fair compensation for the never ending series of flaming hoops that all flyboys/flygirls jump through their entire careers. Swing shifts-no problem and disrupted family life? These people need decent support and assurances that the skillset they demonstrate daily is valued and compensated accordingly.
The contract’s retroactive start date is Sept. 30, 2023 (not 2024, as implied by the article)! Otherwise this would be a three-year contract, as it expires Sept. 29, 2027.
