But no USB charge port?

Garmin just came up with a USB unit. Don’t think they would want to negate on those profits…

A comment in this report is absolutely rediculous! It state, "None of the shops we contacted were enthused about the uAvionix products, because of worries about Garmin’s pending lawsuit over patent infringement and concerns about reliability. Lets be real!!! We all know why shops don’t like the uAvionix product. They can’t make any money installing it!!! Reliability??? This company is huge! We in general aviation may see them as new-comers but that’s not true! They make other products in other markets! Law suit? Its not an issue! Garmin knows it. I am not associated with uAvionix (in fact, I just purchased a Garmin GNX375 for my aircraft). I would have done the uAvionix but wanted the 1090 solution. This report suggests that the uAvionix is not a good solution by stating what shops say, without telling what the real deal is… Hmmm
