Started flying ate 15, in Long Beach, CA. Stopped piloting at 80, my wife had me read a journal of a mission in Central America and when finished she said, “you don’t do those sorts of things anymore, do you?”
Thought no, there are old pilots and bold pilots, but no old bold pilots.
So, retired from CAP after being a mission commander.
Serve as an airport commissioner.
