When I was a teenager I would go out about ten miles West of Waco Municipal (then - ACT) to the the Valley Mills grass strip to watch my friend Frank Price practice aerobatics in his yellow Jungmeister. He’d do a practice session then land soaked with sweat and worn out from the physical demands of the maneuvers. The Jungmiester fuel tank is located between the cockpit and the firewall and Frank’s had a clank pickup; that is, a weighted end to feed fuel for either positive or negative gs.
