Jack’s was the perfect replacement to the disaster that was his predecessor. He could do us all a favor by vigorously promoting Mogas. After all, the EAA earned the first Mogas STC 40 years ago and Petersen expanses greatly on that. Jack could use chia influence to convince large Avgas makers and suppliers like Phillips, Shell, Avfuel, Titan etc. to deliver discounted Mogas along with avgas and Jet-A. The EAA wisely eliminated the cost for AirVenture to the youth in order to promote aviation to the next generation. Low-cost Mogas in our airfields would do the same. And show the enviros that we are serious about reducing our use of leaded fuel. It’s all so simple, really.
