New 2024 growth factor gives governments the number needed to calculate each carrier’s CO₂ offset requirement.
Some years ago, I placed an ad offering to not cut down trees on my 3 acre lot and got a lot of response for people looking to buy offsets. The reality is, I never intended to cut down those trees but I proved a fool and his money is easily separated.
This is just another tax scheme in disguise. Buying “offsets” doesn’t solve the issue.
