No! First, electric is just silly for aircraft. Most thinking people understand that. But laminar flow behind a propeller? That will never happen as a result of turbulence from the props. That’s why the Klapmeier’s VK-30 and the Learfan has pusher props, so the wings would operate in undisturbed airflow. This is aero engineering 101 stuff the developer seems to have missed. What sucker or taxpayer did they soak to pay for this contraption, which reminds me of something the late, great supercomputer inventor Seymour Cray once said comparing his powerful CPUs compared to clusters of PCs: “What would you prefer pulling your cart - two sturdy oxen, or 1000 chickens?” The future for light aircraft engines are diesels fueled with Jet-A, or diesel fuel which can be made from the most renewable energy source imaginable, fossil fuels.
