This is a perfect example of how important aviation and the wide network of airports is to America in time of need. Unfortunately, with all the teeth-gnashing that went on with the election building up to Inaugration Day, stories like this got buried and the news media totally overlooked it. While the “big guys” (Fedex, UPS) got coverage as they loaded up their jets for the primary distribution, no mention was made about how the critical vaccines got moved out to their final destinations in remote parts of the country.
