Bedford Confirms Lack Of Commercial Ticket

If he will lie about this matter, and perpetuate the lie for many years, what else is Mr. Bedford willing to lie about? Unfortunately, this trait seems to be a qualification for working in the current administration, not a flaw.

For anyone who, like me, is skeptical about unsourced quotes embedded in images, and wanted to verify that there is credible evidence that Sullenberger actually stated this, here is evidence: a LinkedIn post on 2025-06-23 approx, from the ā€œCapt. Sully Sullenbergerā€ account, which contains the exact words quoted above.

Citing sources makes your arguments more credible, folks.

Absolutely correct. You’re either a stand up person or not and Bedford is not. Dump him and move on.

The Senate Transportation Committee just confirmed Bryan Bedford to become the next FAA Administrator. The vote came down along party lines with Republican’s having the majority, thus insuring his confirmation. Time will tell how he leads but based upon public positions, and those he hedged on, FAA will have another Administrator who will be looking forward to spring boarding into lucrative industry affiliations.

A dissembling liar was confirmed by a political party with more than the national percentage of dissembling liars, and whose leader struggles with, but fails miserably, to grasp the very concept?

I’m shocked. Shocked.

Folks, if those are your representatives you need to take a long hard look at what that says about you, and choose more wisely at the ballot box next time. And if you didn’t vote, you deserve exactly what you got.

Bryan Bedford will coast into Senate confirmation primarily because of political winds and majority votes. His FAA Administrator tenure will be defined by relief and easy sailing for regional airlines looking for a break. The conflict of interest Bryan Bedford represents is palpable
