One day this may become as routine as watching a plane take off and land yet it will always be just as exciting. The next milestone is Starship and when that lights up it will usher in a next step in human space and possible sub-orbital travel around the planet.

My distaste for Elon Musk outweighs my satisfaction of this success although I am glad The astronauts are safe. I’m glad Space X makes vehicles of higher quality than Tesla makes cars.

SpaceX apparently makes higher-quality space vehicles than Boeing, too.

I’m not holding my breath, though. The same was originally said of the Space Shuttle (though a space capsule with a reusable 1st stage is more likely to inch that closer to reality).
