More likely Roosevelt Lake east of Phoenix.
Beware of confusion over which lake of two, apparently one is better for beaching and has less terrain around it.
Looks to me like Roosevelt Lake is SW of Phoenix, Lake Pleasant is NW of Phoenix.
Pima aviation museum is near Tucson, which is 174km from Phoenix to the SSE.
Maybe I’ve got map dyslexia, but Roosvelt Lake looks to me to be a bit ENE of Phoenix. And if you drive NE out of Apache Junction which we do occasionally you’ll see signs for Roosevelt Lake leading you northeast.

I saw a map of Phoenix with a lake to the SW of similar shape.
Some folks can’t read a map. Lake Theodore Roosevelt next to Roosevelt, AZ.
