The title of the article is misleading.
The Navy Blue Angles are transitioning to the Super Hornet. It’s still an F/A-18, just a newer model.
The title makes it sound like the Blue Angles are getting a F-35.
Most people will not know the difference from an F/A-18A,B,C,D, E or F.
I call 'em “bugs”
The last line of your comment may be misleading. Are you calling the people who don’t know their airplanes “bugs”? Or are you calling the planes “bugs”? I’m not sure I understand either one.
Paul, this brings back memories. When I was in the service the Blue Angels took an A-4F from our squadron to replace one they had lost. That was 1978!
