Wow, glad they walked away. Drag racing and airplane nut here. Soon both the airport and the drag strip will be gone if psychofornians have their way. So it won’t happen again.

Uh . . . what airport will be gone? Ontario (ONT)?

[Slightly off topic aside: The Pomona track has - or had - a road racing course (with an underpass) laid out in their parking lot.]

There is a delightful airport in Pomona: KPOC. Two parallel runways, 3,661’ and 4,840’ long. Fuel, tiedowns, an airport restaurant, operated by the County of Los Angeles.

Thanks. I Googled for airports near Pomona; I guess KPOC can’t compete with the likes of ONT for search exposure.
