Unfortunately New Jersey does not. The training provider that my company uses is closed. My recurrent training has been delayed at least 2 months so far. Fortunately the POI knows this and we have gotten some relief on this issue. Not sure what will happen if all this lasts past July.

For medicals expiring March 31 through June 30, it appears that instead of extending validity/duration, the policy in Docket No FAA-2020-0312 indicates no enforcement action will be taken.
Legal to fly … but not much help when AVEMCO’s underwriter has confirmed “no valid medical, no insurance coverage”. www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/medical_certification/

UPDATE: “The FAA issued a issued a special federal aviation regulation (SFAR) … extending the validity of expired or soon-to-expire medical certificates, flight reviews, recency of experience requirements for instrument pilots, and flight instructor certificates—in most cases until June 30.”

GA has a large contribution to the economy, that is in a upward taper, back to normalcy… The more we fly, the bigger part of the economy we play… I believe the FAA has never been in a position to impede commerce, and will continue to do so, in the name of safety…

So, get out there and fly some ILS’s…

Airliner and GA guy here…
