Looks like he supports BOTH kinds of GA:: Jets and turboprops.

What is the point of leaving comments if they are flagged as inappropriate but AVWeb’s system won’t tell you what it deemed inappropriate. This is a joke. Why not just tell readers they are not wanted and shut off their accounts?

This article strikes me as a press release by Textron lauding Textron. It leaves me wondering whether it would have been posted like this and with this headline prior to Flying Media Group taking over Belvoir.

Press release indeed. The article doesn’t even mention where or when the speaker made his statements. Was this at a Textron shareholder meeting? Or an FAA hearing? Or perhaps before a congressional committee? What exactly is he advocating for?

I’m guessing the statements were created at the desks of the Textron PR staff and then sent, with Gibbs approval, to news outlets. Which is fine. I just don’t think AvWeb should dutifully publish them unedited for Textron.

Bug smashers and fling wings weren’t mentioned but I think that the sentiment extends to most of G.A. Time to push in the same direction and not take potshots at each other.

I agree. This is a pointless article.
